Description

Welcome!

Here is where we will be practicing, engaging and having fun with our social emotional learning (SEL)!  I will be uploading SEL worksheets for you to practice on your own or with a family member. Additionally, I will upload slides/videos for you to use as needed.

*I encourage you to be practicing your social emotional learning DAILY, but I am posting optional assignments weekly.

If you forgot what social emotional learning is...it is learning how to be mindful, respectful, understanding others' points of view, knowing how to regulate your emotions, empathy, making responsible decisions, and most importantly..........being KIND!

Stay tuned in for weekly SEL assignments.

Week 3

Hello friends!

This week we are focusing our attention on EMOTIONS. We all have them, right? And it is okay to feel any emotion. What is important is how we work through and manage our emotions. Please take a look at your grade level SEL slides (K-2) or (3-5) and do the activity. Additionally, this week's SEL worksheet focuses on RESPONSIBILITY. Check-in with yourself, see how you are feeling, try out the self-care tip, practice the mindfulness activity and think/write about responsibility.

Have fun with this! And don't forget to thank your family for their support!

Due:

Week 4

Hello there!

Wherever you are in your SEL practice, I hope you know you are doing AMAZING. Just by reading this now or choosing to engage in the SEL material this week, you are on the track to success. I am proud of you for doing your best everyday!

This week we have worksheet and slide 4 to utilize! If you are doing one worksheet every day, then today you would be on worksheet 16. Remember, go at your own pace! I encourage you to do at least ONE once a week. But if you enjoy the daily practice, keep on thriving!
Please see the attachments below.

Additional worksheets are located under "SEL Worksheets" on my home page. This link will take you straight there: https://www.jctes.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1238300&type=u&pREC_ID=1897019

P.S. Don't forget to thank your parents/guardian for their help during distance learning :)
